This website is a medium of communication between Kotido District Local Government and her Clients. It specifies the various departments, services, commitments and standards for the delivery of services and sets out feedback mechanisms for improved service delivery.
The District recognizes the potential benefits of using the website as a tool to drive change towards a more customer focused approach throughout the service delivery levels. It is therefore envisaged that the website, if properly used, will go a long way in increasing the Institution’s efficiency, effectiveness and economic use of the available scarce resources. This website is linked to other official social media accounts such as Face book. Twitter and What’s Up. It contains the resource constrained District Development Plan and Budget Framework papers and will finally be operationalized through the annual budgeting process.
It is my great honor and pleasure to thank the Government of Uganda for introducing the development of district websites in the Local Government service delivery systems as it strengths the relationships between Kotido District Local Government and her Clients and the outside world by clearly giving timely information and opening the district to the outside world.
I am further indebted to all the key stakeholders that took part in the designing and updating of this website. Special acknowledgement goes to NITA , that hosts the website ,the members of the District Technical Planning Committee, the District Executive Committee and the District Council.
I would like to appeal to all clients and stakeholders to use this website as a tool to improve service delivery in Kotido District Local Government.
